Founding Defi Engineer | Dubai | Relocation & Visa Covered

Up to $200k Compensation

We’re looking for a Lead Python Engineer to design and scale the infrastructure that powers on chain trading, automation, and real-time decision-making. You’ll be the founding engineer on this effort, working directly with a founder and shaping the system end to end.

This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be building production trading infrastructure from scratch, making architectural calls, and deciding where performance matters enough to bring in Rust later.

The role is on-site in Dubai. Relocation is covered.

What You’ll Build:

• Core Python services that drive DeFi trading and automation
• Real time blockchain ingestion and event processing systems
• Integrations with smart contracts and DeFi protocols
• Internal microservices for execution, monitoring, and control
• Low latency paths where performance matters, with room to introduce Rust
• Tooling and workflows that leverage AI to move faster without cutting corners

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Python engineer Comfortable with async systems, concurrency, performance tuning, and clean architecture
• DeFi-literate: You understand how AMMs work, what MEV is, how liquidations happen, and how on-chain execution actually behaves
• Distributed systems experience: You’ve built real-time, production services before
• Smart contract fluency: You can read Solidity and reason about on-chain logic
• Modern development mindset: You use AI tools (Claude, Codex, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate development
