Keeper Security is hiring a creative, data-driven Social Media Specialist to join our global communications team. This is a 100% remote position from select locations, with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the Chicago, IL metro area.

About The Job
The Social Media Specialist will bring creative ideas to life across social media, driving content creation, community engagement and influencer partnerships. Reporting to the Social Media & Community Manager, this role will help shape the concepts, campaigns and assets that define Keeper’s brand across various social media channels.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day content creation, publishing and community engagement across multiple social media platforms and channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), and across multiple regions
- Plan, write and edit engaging, on-brand copy for social media posts (captions, copy for graphics, animated videos and other visual assets, stories, short-form video scripts, etc.), with an understanding of tone of voice for each platform and audience
- Assist the Social Media Manager with managing content calendars, contributing creative ideas and keeping deliverables on schedule
- Engage with followers and online communities by responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely and professional manner to foster authentic relationships and strengthen brand loyalty
- Support influencer marketing initiatives by helping to identify, vet and collaborate with creators and partners to expand reach, drive awareness and align with campaign goals
- Collaborate with marketing, product, communications, design and other internal and external teams to support integrated campaigns and key launches
- Stay up-to-date on emerging platforms, features and best practices. Monitor social channels for trends, competitor activity and opportunities for real-time engagement
- Track performance metrics, prepare reports and optimize content based on analytics
- 2+ years of professional experience managing social media for a brand or agency
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to brand tone and consistency
- Experience with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
- General knowledge of social media platform trends and algorithms
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, team members and cross-functional teams
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field is preferred
