Systems Test Engineer – Electronics Norwich | £60,000 | Flexible working
This role is about being the person people turn to when electronic systems need to work first time, every time.
You’ll join a high-reliability electronics manufacturer operating in safety-critical and mission-critical environments, where RF, microwave and complex electronic products are built, tested and shipped at scale.
Your focus is on test, diagnostics and continuous improvement - not just running test procedures, but shaping how products are verified, fault-found and released into production.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and improving test systems and test setups
- Turning customer and internal specifications into practical test solutions
- Diagnosing faults down to component level
- Supporting production with hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Programming and maintaining test systems
- Improving test efficiency, robustness and documentation
- Acting as a technical reference point for test and diagnostics

What will make you a fit
- Background in electrical / electronic engineering
- Experience in electronic test, diagnostics or production engineering
- Comfortable with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and similar tools
- Strong fault-finding skills at circuit and component level
- Exposure to automated test, Python/C#, or PCB tools is a bonus
- Eligible for Security Clearance (or able to obtain)
