A Major healthcare organization in the greater Burlington, Washington area is expanding its security engineering team and looking for an experienced professional to help strengthen and mature its security posture. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across critical clinical and enterprise systems while working in a highly collaborative environment.
Salary: $142,292 Per Year
Relocation Assistance: This position is onsite in the greater Burlington, WA area. We are willing to offer relocation assistance of up to $10,000, depending on the distance/logistics needed to relocate.

What you will do
- Establish, document, and maintain security standards across systems and networks
- Configure and manage core security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, web and mail filtering, and endpoint protection
- Lead or support incident response activities from preparation through execution and follow‑up
- Monitor network performance, investigate anomalies, and drive timely remediation
- Own, track, and resolve security‑related requests and issues with clear communication to leadership
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for network implementation, system usage, and disaster recovery
- Provide occasional backup support to systems or network engineering teams

Requirements
- 5+ years as a Security Engineer with hands‑on control over security tooling and infrastructure
- 2+ years of systems or network administration experience
- 1+ year supervising or mentoring technical staff
- Bachelor’s degree
- Direct experience working in healthcare security, compliance, or regulated environments
