About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Front End Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Agility team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-performance frontend applications that connect strategy to execution at an enterprise level. You will play a key role in building a new initiative from scratch, utilizing the Atlassian platform, open toolchain principles, and the philosophy of aligned autonomy for teams. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely within the US Pacific or Mountain time zones and collaborate with a distributed team of talented engineers. Your work will directly impact how organizations adopt and scale agile practices, making software development more efficient and aligned with business objectives. You will be empowered to innovate, lead technical initiatives, and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building large-scale frontend applications using React
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing, and deployment
• Proven success in mentoring and leading junior engineers
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Hands-on experience with micro-service architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, SQS)

• Knowledge of building integrations and data synchronization using event pub/sub models
