About The Role

We are seeking a talented, creative, and visionary UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the future of our cybersecurity products by creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. Collaborating closely with our Head of Product Design, you will reimagine how users interact with our solutions, ensuring that our interfaces are not only functional but also delightful to use. This is a fully remote position offering flexibility, with an option for a hybrid schedule for candidates residing near our global headquarters in Chicago. The ideal candidate will bring a user-centered design approach, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for crafting impactful digital experiences that align with our company's innovative vision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX/UI design roles, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, with the ability to present and communicate design concepts effectively.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and experience designing across multiple platforms including web, desktop, mobile, and tablet.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and learn complex solutions quickly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to define user requirements, project goals, and visual design concepts.
• Lead the entire design process from ideation, wireframing, prototyping, to final UI development, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to understand user behaviors and preferences, integrating findings into design iterations.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user needs and inform design strategies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX/UI best practices, advocating for their adoption within the team.
• Leverage Keeper’s existing design system and brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all digital properties.
• Design responsive layouts that deliver optimal experiences across all devices and platforms, including web, desktop, mobile, and tablets.
