We're working with Boeing on this exciting opportunity. This role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting in-house scientific software tools for a global community of engineers. You'll contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring application compliance and security.

The Role

• Actively support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, QA, and service

• Perform software development, verification, and maintenance for multiple applications and tech stacks

• Support the advancement of application services and common code reuse using DevOps practices

• Define and maintain functional software development and quality engineering processes and infrastructure

• Develop system integration strategies and software architectures that promote common process and tools

• Identify and analyze software quality metrics to improve quality and manage risk

What You'll Need

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science

• Experience with compiled languages: Fortran, C, C++, or C#

• Experience with interpretive languages: Python, OpenGL, CMake, or Java

• Proficiency with common software version control tools (e.g., Git, GitLab)

• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall development methodologies

• Familiarity with On-Prem and Cloud services and Windows/AIX/Linux operating systems
