This is a company‑builder role (not a hands-on engineering role), leading cross‑functional teams and partnering closely with Sales/GTM to drive ROI and scale globally.
- Define and own long‑term product vision, strategy, and roadmap; prioritize ruthlessly and make tough calls.
- Maximize ROI across new development and maintenance; set clear success metrics.
- Lead and scale a 15‑person org across Design, DS, QA, and Engineering; hire/mentor senior PMs.
- Run disciplined development cycles and establish operating cadences for delivery and quality.
- Translate customer/market insights into product bets; partner directly with Sales/GTM and key clients.
- Align product direction with growth strategy; support launches and global expansion.

- Senior product leadership owning end‑to‑end SaaS/data products; proven track record shipping at scale.
- Strong strategic thinker with hands‑on execution; decisive and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams and managing seasoned PMs.
- AI/ML product experience (discovery, ranking, personalization, or decisioning) strongly preferred.
- Entrepreneurial, highly curious, pragmatic-not dogmatic about process; startup background ideal.
- Global growth experience a plus; willing to be based in Japan (relocation welcome) those already here prioritised
