We're working with Amazon on this exciting opportunity. Join the AWS Managed Operations team to build and lead operations and development for high-availability AWS services within the new European Sovereign Cloud, exclusively for EU customers.
The Role
• Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025.
• Collaborate with global AWS teams to influence service evolution.
• Enhance day-to-day operations, focusing on availability, reliability, and performance.

• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve out-of-hours incidents.
• Contribute to defining and improving standard operational procedures (SOPs).

What You'll Need
• Expertise in systems engineering (hardware, software, networking, OS).
• Experience scripting processes in Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of Linux and networking; ability to troubleshoot performance issues.
• Demonstrated ability to create and improve standard operational procedures.
