Senior Hardware Team Leader

They provide cutting-edge solutions used in more than 1 billion chips every year and are dedicated to researching and developing advanced technologies for communication and positioning, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, Cellular-IoT, and more. They are developing state-of-the-art Wireless technologies. They are located in Sophia Antipolis.

Within the Wireless Internet of Things (W-IoT) Business Unit, they are offering the position of Senior Hardware (Digital Design) Team Leader. Working closely with algorithms, software, and validation teams, this colleague will be responsible for a group of digital design engineers developing cutting-edge wireless communication solutions.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 7
• Defining the architecture/micro-architecture of various parts of their Modem
• Implementing the design in Verilog
• Participating in the verification (Simulation)
• Participating in the validation (FPGA testing)
• Customer Support

Requirements:

• Higher degree
• 7+ years of experience in digital design (RTL, Verilog)
• 3+ years of experience in a people management position
• Work experience in any of the following industries: semiconductor/IoT/Wireless
• Fluent English
• Onsite work: 3 times a week

Advantage:

• Knowledge in Wi-Fi 802.11 / Bluetooth / Cellular 3GPP / 802.15.4 standards
• Knowledge in modem development and Wireless communication systems
• Experience in SOC Architecture and FPGA implementation
