As part of a team of system administrators you will monitor and respond to various customer ticket queues performing event validation, initial root cause analysis followed by prescriptive resolution. In addition, you will perform routine scheduled maintenance activities to ensure the vitality of complex customer environments. From time to time, you will participate as a lead in customer projects as an enterprise level systems architect. Successful candidates will distinguish themselves through accurate event validation, comprehensive root cause analysis and proactive problem solving resulting in participation in customer projects. Successful candidates will be exposed to a broad range of technologies and increasing demanding architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts architecture discovery and evaluation against industry best practices.
• Architect, designs, and implements using industry and OEM best practices.
• Monitor and respond to customer ITSM ticket queues.
• Interact directly with customer in English both written and verbal.
• Evaluate reported events determining root cause proposing solution for resolution.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
• Maintains historical records by documenting system changes and revisions.
• Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  
  

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

• Hands on expertise with deployment, maintenance, and upgrade of NetApp storage
• Hands on expertise with deployment, maintenance, and upgrade of Pure storage
• Maintenance and support for CISCO SAN Switches.
• Maintenance and support of SAN Zoning, storage capacity planning, NFS, DFS, VMFS
• Expert knowledge for at least one operating system Windows or Linux
• Working knowledge for VMware
• Working knowledge for Cohesity backup
• Willing to explore automation via Ansible and automate daily repeated task via Ansible.
