🔹 About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to join our growing team and work on real-world AI solutions within the banking and financial services domain.

This is NOT a research role and NOT a pure data science position.

We need a hands-on AI engineer who can:

• Build intelligent systems
• Deploy production-grade AI solutions
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise environments
• Deliver practical business value

🔹 What You Will Be Working On

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and building LLM-powered applications for enterprise use
• Developing RAG pipelines to interact with large knowledge bases
• Building AI assistants for internal banking operations
• Automating document processing and information extraction
• Creating intelligent chatbots and AI-driven workflows
• Integrating AI models with internal systems and databases
• Deploying AI services using APIs and microservices
• Optimizing models for performance, security, and compliance
• Working with structured and unstructured financial data

🔹 Core Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end AI solutions from idea to deployment
• Build secure and scalable APIs using FastAPI / Flask
• Work with vector databases and retrieval systems
• Deploy AI models on cloud or on-prem environments
• Collaborate with product and business teams
• Ensure AI systems follow enterprise security standards
• Maintain and enhance existing AI platforms
• Optimize latency, accuracy, and system performance

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Applied AI / Machine Learning
• Strong experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with:

Large Language Models (LLMs)

RAG systems

LangChain / LlamaIndex

Vector Databases (FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, etc.)

• Experience in building production AI systems
• Strong knowledge of:

FastAPI / Flask

Docker

REST APIs

• Experience with at least one cloud platform:

AWS / Azure / GCP

• Solid understanding of:

System integration

Databases

Secure enterprise environments

• Experience in banking or fintech projects
• Computer Vision experience
• MLOps knowledge
• Experience with Arabic NLP
• Knowledge of compliance and secure AI deployment
