About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist specializing in Analytics & Data Science to join our team remotely from San Francisco or other locations where we operate. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex product and business challenges through advanced data analysis, experimentation, and strategic insights.

Your primary focus will be to develop hypotheses, test them through rigorous analytical methods, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that influence product roadmaps and business strategies. You will serve as a trusted strategic partner, leveraging your technical expertise to shape product development, identify new opportunities, and measure the success of initiatives through key metrics. Your storytelling skills will be vital in communicating insights effectively to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science or related fields
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one data manipulation programming language (e.g., Python, R)
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, R-Shiny, Microstrategy, SAP Business Objects, Looker, etc.
• Strong knowledge of statistical concepts including regressions, A/B testing, clustering, and probability
• Experience in driving impactful projects that influence business strategy and performance
• Proven ability to craft analysis into persuasive and well-structured narratives
• Experience advising and presenting to senior executives as a thought partner
  
  

Desirable Qualifications Include

• 10+ years of experience in Data Science or related fields
• Understanding of SaaS business models and key performance metrics
• Experience in developing insights for chat, search, or large language model-based products
  
  

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product and business challenges through data analysis and experimentation
• Build and maintain analytical models to develop strategies and solve complex problems
• Develop hypotheses using various methodologies, frameworks, and technical approaches, then test and validate them
• Identify opportunities for product and business improvements, influencing roadmaps through insights and recommendations
• Partner with teams to inform, influence, and execute strategic decisions based on data insights
• Forecast and monitor key product metrics to evaluate the success of initiatives and understand trends
• Utilize data to shape product development, quantify new opportunities, and anticipate upcoming challenges
