Job Summary: Provides support for a complex SharePoint environment servicing a large server Farm organization which consists of more than multiple servers across, like >5,000+ Users, and several thousand Web applications integrated with several LOB applications. Working as a member of a support team, this position will have visible and direct interaction with local users, and also provide phone support to remote users at varying levels within the organization. A technically knowledgeable, customer service-oriented person with an excellent work ethic is essential.

Language Proficiency: English


Key Responsibilities:

  • Large server Farm SharePoint deployment
  • SharePoint services and SSP Configuration
  • Upgrade and Maintenance of SharePoint Servers
  • Integration with LOB application (with Dev Team support)
  • Backup and Restore Strategy Planning and monitoring under Operations
  • working knowledge on SharePoint Designer, Infopath or relevant tool
  • Health Monitoring and its report generation
  • Installation/Upgrading of components viz. features, webparts, solutions etc
  • Experience in Managing host named site collections, service accounts, SharePoint patching
  • Proficiency in IIS 6.0 onwards
  • Migration from 2012 to 2016 or - latest
  • SharePoint Design level understanding on Windows server, AD, Networks, security, SQL Server
  • Working knowledge on SharePoint Nintex workflow, .net code & Java script
  • SharePoint 2016 and latest Test, Development and QA environment
  • Documentation and Training:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for On-Prem SharePoint and configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to L1 & L2.
  • Good to have Certifications: Relevant certifications on SharePoint.



  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong expertise in SharePoint administration.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation.

Extensively used Performing administration tasks with Power Shell Commands

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
