Job Description
What Our UI/UX Designer Will Do:
- Craft and maintain a comprehensive design system for the product that aligns with the company's vision, style guidelines, and industry best practices, including a consistent set of design patterns, components, and visual language across platforms.
- Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to facilitate common understanding among stakeholders and enable rapid iteration of design concepts.
- Work closely with product owners, software engineers, and other UI/UX designers in an agile setup to bring ideas to life from concept through to launch, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead and conduct comprehensive user research and usability testing to gather insights into user needs and behaviors, translating these findings into actionable design improvements.
- Engage in user research, competitive product analysis, and data analysis to inform design decisions and enhance user satisfaction.
- Ensure that designs meet accessibility standards and are inclusive to a diverse user base.
What We Are Looking For:
- A BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or other relevant disciplines, or a combination of education and 5 to 7 years of practical experience in UI/UX design.
- A passion for understanding user needs and creating intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
- Demonstrated experience in crafting user experiences and interfaces, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on various projects.
- A solid grasp of user-centered design processes and methodologies, including iterative design and usability testing.
- Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma,with familiarity with motion design and prototyping tools being a plus.
- A good understanding of front-end languages (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and their impact on design feasibility and user experience.
- Experience working with and presenting to senior stakeholders and clients, with the ability to articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback effectively.
- A commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, open communication, and problem-solving in a team environment.
- Comfort with the agile development process and ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead design projects, mentor junior designers, and advocate for user experience best practices within the organization.
