As an Infrastructure Engineer you will play a crucial role in and make a real impact on how our clients leverage the power of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to innovate and succeed. You'll be a key player in guiding clients through their cloud journeys, from initial strategy and architecture design to implementation, optimization, and ongoing support.

In this role, you'll wear many hats, but your primary focus will be on ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality, best-practice infrastructure solutions:
- Implement Cloud Architecture: Implement and deploy secure, scalable, and cost-effective GCP solutions tailored to specific client needs.
- Technical Project Delivery: Delivery projects from conception to completion, driving execution and ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Client Consultation: Build strong relationships with clients, collaborating closely to understand their goals and translate them into tangible technical strategies.
- Technical Teammate: Share your expertise and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Proven track record of successful cloud migration and or deployment projects.
- In-depth knowledge of core cloud services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, and Networking.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Passion for learning and staying current with the latest GCP advancements.
- Hand-on knowledge and experience with GKE, Docker, and containers in production
- Experience working with application database technologies like Cloud SQL, MongoDB, and Firestore
- Hand-on knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with large-scale applications with a track record of success in a services role working with enterprise-size clients
- Relevant GCP certifications
- Ability to leverage multiple tools and programming languages to analyze and manipulate large data sets from disparate data sources
- Ability to understand and build complex systems and solve challenging analytical problems
Preferred skills and technical familiarity
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of engineering services management process and ability to ramp up on all necessary tools required for the job
- Continuous Learning: Staying informed about industry trends, changes in Google's product offerings, and acquiring new skills to remain competitive in the market
- CI/CD and Devops Proficiency: Experience with automating infrastructure deployments and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Containerization Expertise: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for building and deploying scalable applications.
- Client-Facing Comfort: Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, manage expectations, and effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated Technical Team Leadership: Skills in leading small technical teams, managing project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Git Ops and Code Review skills required.
- Communication Strength: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
