Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics or related roles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, R, Spark, and SQL.
- Experience working with data warehouses, SQL, unstructured data, and data integration platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake data platform.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, metadata, and data lineage.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to explore and interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into business insights.
- Experience working within Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma process management methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, is preferred.
- Leverage open-source and digital technologies to mine and analyze diverse data sources and platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions and tools to support self-service analytics frameworks.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Drive insights by performing detailed data analysis, creating visualizations, and delivering actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing metadata management, data lineage, and data validation processes.
- Partner with technical teams to implement data security, access controls, and governance policies.
- Build and deploy monitoring tools to track data quality and system performance.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and explore their application to enhance data solutions and analytics capabilities.
- Support data management initiatives, including metadata documentation and adherence to data standards.
