Automated Quality Tester

We are looking for a meticulous and innovative Automated Quality Tester with a passion for digital experiences. Someone who thrives in collaborative environments, dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards for cutting-edge applications.

As an Automated Quality Tester, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and comprehensive regression test suites. You'll work hand-in-hand with developers, product managers, and fellow QA professionals to implement advanced automated testing strategies, significantly increase test coverage, and optimize overall testing efficiency.

We think you’ll be a good fit if you have these skills and traits:

• Extensive expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), testing, and quality assurance systems and ecosystems. (Mandatory)
• Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in developing sophisticated automated tests within complex environments.
• Demonstrable proficiency in low-code platforms, with a strong preference for UiPath (desired). You must understand how to leverage its capabilities for efficient test automation.
• A fervent passion for quality and an obsession with delivering exceptional Digital experiences.
• Hands-on experience with application lifecycle management tools such as Jira and Xray (or similar alternatives).
• A highly collaborative approach, with a track record of building consensus and driving action.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A high degree of initiative, responsibility, and assertiveness.
• Proven ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously without compromising quality.
• A strong aptitude for quickly understanding diverse and complex technical and business realities, translating them into effective test strategies.
• Working hours compatible with Portugal time zones.
  
  

In the course of your job, you will be instrumental in:

• Implementing and evolving our Test Automation Excellence strategy, including the design, development, and maintenance of intricate test scripts.
• Continuously improving our test automation processes, adapting swiftly to new challenges and evolving needs.
• Acting as a hands-on expert in defining and implementing test scripts, while also guiding other testers to maximize the value of automated testing.
• Ensuring the implementation and ongoing updates of adequate test environments and infrastructures.
• Identifying and meticulously reporting questionable functions, performance bottlenecks, and inconsistencies to product teams, actively pursuing their resolution.
• Assisting in the identification, selection, and implementation of cutting-edge tools, technologies, and practices that enhance our overall QA process.
• Driving quality practices, risk management, and continuous improvement within your team.
• Collaborating closely with Digital Delivery Teams to ensure superior quality across all their deliverables.
• Contributing to the evolution of our Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) practices.
• Liaising and collaborating with diverse teams – including R&D, InfoSec, TechOps, Digital Delivery, Experts, Cloud, and Service Delivery – to build exceptional software for both internal and external customers.
• Utilizing the right processes to guarantee end-user satisfaction, delivery quality, and the fulfillment of service-level requirements.
• Continuously focusing on incremental improvements across functionality, usability, performance, automation, and security.
