Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate iOS Developer to join our remote engineering team in Mexico. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications, ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and/or Objective-C
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and implement new features
- Maintain and improve existing iOS applications, fixing bugs and optimizing performance
- Ensure application quality through unit testing and code reviews
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Follow best practices for mobile architecture, security, and scalability
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
- Stay updated with the latest iOS trends, tools, and technologies
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in iOS application development
- Strong proficiency in Swift (Objective-C is a plus)
- Experience with Xcode, iOS SDK, UIKit, and Auto Layout
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and mobile networking
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of iOS design principles and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
- Experience publishing apps to the Apple App Store
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Experience working with distributed or international teams
