Job Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality data, reports, and business intelligence to aircraft operators and internal application users. You will work closely with engineering to understand data sources and ensure accuracy, while partnering with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into meaningful insights. This role plays a key part in helping customers and internal teams make informed, data-driven decisions by transforming complex operational data into clear, actionable reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to aircraft operators and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with aircraft operators to understand their data needs and provide tailored business intelligence solutions that support their daily operations.
  • Conduct data analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement within aviation operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability for reporting and analysis.
  • Support the design and implementation of data models and data architecture to streamline data flow and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Monitor and manage data quality, performing regular audits to ensure the reliability of business intelligence outputs.
  • Provide training and support to users on Power BI and other data tools to promote self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data analytics and Power BI to continuously improve our reporting and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including report and dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data query languages.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
