Job Description


The Digital Strategy & Platform Execution Team at one of our largest Fortune 200 Energy Generation clients is undergoing multi-year Nuclear Digital Transformation initiative focused on modernizing how work is planned, prioritized, and executed across nuclear operations. This transformation emphasizes product-centric delivery, agile execution, and tighter alignment between technology platforms and business outcomes in a highly regulated environment.


The Product Owner will play a critical role within an Agile Delivery Team (ADT), owning the product vision and backlog for one or more high-value nuclear digital products. This individual will be responsible for maximizing business value by aligning stakeholder priorities with delivery execution, ensuring that features, enhancements, and technical investments directly support strategic nuclear objectives.


The ideal candidate is comfortable operating at both a strategic and execution level, partnering closely with business leaders, engineers, and delivery teams to drive outcomes in a complex enterprise environment. Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager, Consultant, or similar role supporting software delivery initiatives
  • 3+ years of direct experience serving as a Product Owner (or equivalent) on Agile delivery teams
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or large-scale platform initiatives
  • Strong experience working within Agile frameworks, specifically Scrum
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs across multiple initiatives or value streams
  • Experience partnering with technical teams to deliver cloud-based or enterprise digital platforms
  • Ability to review and provide feedback on technical and design assets
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Experience translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, highly regulated environments


Bonus Requirements:

  • Experience supporting digital initiatives within the energy, utilities, or nuclear industry
  • Technical background or degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience working with UX/UI tools such as Figma
  • Previous experience launching or scaling enterprise products or major product capabilities
  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline


Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for assigned nuclear digital products
  • Partner with business sponsors, leaders, and other Product Owners to shape product strategy and prioritize features based on business value
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to develop clear, actionable user stories and product requirements
  • Lead and actively participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, portfolio planning, and release planning
  • Provide ongoing context to Agile Delivery Teams to ensure solutions meet current and future business needs
  • Continuously assess delivery progress and report on outcomes relative to business value and strategic goals
  • Identify and help remove impediments by coordinating with business stakeholders and escalating risks as needed
  • Ensure alignment across dependent teams and initiatives that intersect with the product roadmap
  • Support change management, adoption, and continuous improvement efforts tied to nuclear digital platforms
