Staff Frontend Engineer – Frontend & AI
(3 days onsite) | 💼 Sponsorship available
£130,000 – £140,000 + 20% bonus
I’m partnered with a tech-driven e-commerce company building the next generation of AI-enabled products, and they’re hiring a Principal Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping both technology and people.
This is a high-impact position within a small, senior task force working across multiple product and platform areas.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading hands-on frontend development using React & TypeScript
- Shaping how AI is embedded into user-facing products and internal workflows
- Coaching, pairing, and unblocking engineers across the wider organisation
- Driving technical direction and raising frontend engineering standards
- Collaborating across product, platform, and AI-focused teams
