The Opportunity
This is a mission-critical executive leadership role within a large, complex healthcare organization. The Senior Director of Enterprise Platforms will own and govern the enterprise systems that support finance, revenue cycle, compliance, and quality operations across the health system.
This role requires deep, hands-on healthcare industry experience. The successful leader will understand how platform stability, regulatory compliance, and system performance directly impact patient care, reimbursement, and organizational risk. Operating at the intersection of technology, healthcare operations, and executive strategy, this leader will partner closely with senior leadership to ensure reliability today while driving intentional modernization for the future.
The mandate is clear: maintain operational excellence, modernize responsibly, and lead enterprise platforms with confidence in a highly regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee 24/7 business-critical enterprise platforms supporting Finance, Legal, Compliance, Revenue Cycle, and Quality
- Lead and develop a high-performing organization of full-time staff, contractors, and external consulting partners
- Define and execute platform strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle planning across ERP, EPM, RCM, and governance systems
- Partner closely with executive stakeholders across Finance, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, and Clinical Operations
- Ensure system stability, resilience, and uptime for revenue-impacting healthcare platforms
- Own incident response, outage management, and root-cause analysis for enterprise systems
- Direct complex integrations across ERP, EHR, RCM, payroll, treasury, and reporting platforms
- Drive disaster recovery and business continuity planning for healthcare financial and operational systems
- Champion standardization, automation, and optimization across legacy and acquired environments
- Balance regulatory compliance, modernization initiatives, and uninterrupted operations in high-growth healthcare settings
Required Qualifications
- Mandatory healthcare industry experience supporting hospitals, health systems, or large healthcare organizations
- Proven senior-level people leadership experience with multiple direct reports
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise platforms in regulated healthcare environments
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence across business and clinical stakeholders
- Extensive experience managing vendors, system integrators, and third-party partners
- Solid technical foundation with the ability to guide and support senior technical teams
- Prior hands-on technical background strongly preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in acquisition-driven or private equity-backed healthcare organizations
- Deep experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle EPM in multi-entity healthcare environments
- Strong familiarity with Revenue Cycle systems and healthcare payment processing
- Experience integrating with EHR platforms such as Avatar, Netsmart, PCC, Credible, Raintree, or similar systems
- Exposure to platforms such as Alpha Collector, Onspring, or Zycus
