RAMS Support Engineer

On behalf of the European Space Agency, we are looking for a highly skilled RAMS Support Engineer to work in ESTEC, in the Netherlands.

As per PSC policy requirements, only candidates who are citizens of EU member states will be eligible for consideration

What Is Expected From You

• Provide technical support and expertise to ESA projects in the field of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) throughout all project phases;
• Contribute to the derivation of the RAMS aspects in the system architecture, the implementation and the verification process;
• Support spacecraft Safety Submissions process in the frame of satellite launches;
• Contribute to the proposal, definition, and management of R&D activities covering long- and short-term ESA needs
• Contribute to the definition of technology development requirements and work plans for the Agency’s technology programmes;
• Contribute to ESA dependability and safety policies, requirements, and standards;
• Support the maintenance of Agency and industry technical competence through the organization of training, symposia, workshops;
• Contributing to dissemination of the results of activities performed and the transfer of knowledge across the Agency.

• RAMS techniques in at least one of the following domains (by order of precedence):
• Space
• Aeronautic
• Railway

Where

You will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium. We don’t expect the employees to be on-site full time however you will still have to relocate to the Netherlands for this position.
