Details for the position are as follows:
- 12-month contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion of depending on performance and business needs
- Rate: $90-100hr
- Location: 100% remote OR hybrid in North Chicago, IL
- We are seeking an experienced and motivated HEOR Strategy Associate Director to join our Eye Care team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading HEOR strategy and tactics, including managing the planning, development, and execution of HEOR projects to support a priority gene therapy launch asset for neovascular AMD (nAMD). You will utilize real-world evidence and economic modeling to generate insights that support the value proposition of our product. This role requires strong project management, time management, and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional efforts and ensure successful implementation of research studies.
- Leading the creation of HEOR strategy & conduct timely execution of robust & innovative research aligned to metric team; gain buy-in and support advancement of asset(s) through governance milestones.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including clinical development, medical affairs, market access, regulatory, and commercial to ensure buy-in to strategies and obtain alignment on objectives.
- Work across all HEOR pillars to ensure delivery of research against tight timelines and assures compliance of HEOR studies with established research standards.
- Responsible for appropriate allocation of project/asset specific budget & ensuring projects are delivered on time & within budget.
- Responsible for communicating results of research to key stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and identify risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary, with minimal oversight.
- Design and conduct retrospective analysis studies using real-world registry data to reinforce the disease burden and persisting unmet needs in people with neovascular AMD.
- Design and conduct external control matched studies using clinical trial and real-world data.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners and stakeholders to generate innovative ideas and solutions to support the market access strategies for a US and International launch asset, leveraging existing data sources for robust evidence generation.
- A Master's degree, or Fellowship in Health Economics or a related field. PhD is preferred
- Minimum of 3-7 years of HEOR experience with demonstrated high performance in pharmaceutical industry, CRO, academia or other health related consulting company.
- Demonstrated success in scientific fundamentals of two or more of the core HEOR specialties (epidemiology, biostatistics, patient reported outcomes, health services research, economics)
- Project Management: Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects, manage timelines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with experience in real-world data analysis and health economic modeling.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide insights that drive business decisions and market access.
- Scientific Expertise: A deep understanding of Eye Care and its associated health outcomes and economics is preferred.
