In this 100% remote role, you will be the driving force behind a comprehensive automation strategy, defining test implementation from the ground up in a "quality-first" culture. If you thrive in startup environments, master Python, and want to directly impact the user experience of underserved communities, this challenge is for you.
- Own the Strategy: Design and execute comprehensive test plans for complex product features, ensuring every release happens on time without regression.
- End-to-End Automation: Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks (UI and API) integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Champion Quality: Collaborate closely with product and engineering squads to define acceptance criteria and promote QA best practices across the organization.
- Technical Leadership: Conduct exploratory testing, proactively triage defects, and build monitoring systems for test stability.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer in Test or a developer with a strong focus on testing.
- Technical Stack: Strong object-oriented programming skills in Python. Proficiency in frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Comfortable integrating automated tests into pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Testing Expertise: Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including BDD/Gherkin and functional/integration testing.
- Soft Skills: High autonomy, problem-solving skills, and advanced English fluency.
- Background: Previous experience in startups (scaling processes) and product-based companies is required; Fintech background is a plus.
- Salary: $50,000 to $65,000 USD annual.
- Equity: Initial stock options grant.
- Flexibility: 100% Remote (Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, or Brazil) with flexible hours based on results.
- Well-being: Unlimited PTO, annual performance bonus, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans.
- Growth: Empowering opportunities in a dynamic environment targeting 6x to 10x growth this year.
