Job Description
Were looking for imaginative and tech-savvy Web & Graphic Designers who embrace both traditional and modern tools, including AI-enhanced workflows to produce exceptional designs. If you have an eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for using design to solve actual business problems, youll thrive at Deer Designer.
What Youll Be Doing
- Design a wide range of high-quality deliverables, including:
- Branding (logos, style guides, visual identity)
- Print (flyers, business cards, packaging, book covers)
- Digital (web pages, UI elements, email graphics, social media assets)
- Ads (display banners, lead magnets, promos)
- Presentations and infographics
- Use and integrate AI tools like ChatGPT, Canva AI, Freepik AI, or similar, to speed up ideation and improve creative output.
- Collaborate with fellow designers, Squad Leads, and Quality Analysts to deliver consistent, on-brand designs.
- Interpret client briefs with clarity and professionalism, handling vague input and turning it into strategic creative output.
- Manage your time efficiently across multiple design requests daily, with consistent quality and creativity.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in web and graphic design, ideally in a remote agency or client-facing setup.
- A strong portfolio (Behance profile, PDF file, online portfolio; Google Drive compilation of works are not accepted) that showcases versatility, originality, and attention to detail across print and digital media.
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Figma, including mastery of Auto Layout
- Canva
- Bonus: AI design tools (ChatGPT, MidJourney, Canva AI, Freepik AI, etc.)
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and responsive web design.
- Advanced English communication skills (writing and reading), B2 level or higher.
- A reliable computer setup:
- Minimum: Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM
- Plus, a backup machine
- High-speed, stable internet (50 Mbps+) with a backup plan in place.
- A helpful, open-minded, and ego-free attitude toward design feedback.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote team environment.
- Willingness to undergo and pass 1 week of Bootcamp (paid trial work) before being officially hired.
- Set-Up and Location: Must be locally based in the Philippines, 100% permanent remote work, from anywhere youre happiest and most productive - co-working space, beach, wherever youd like as long as you have a laptop and good internet connection
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8h/day, 1pm to 10pm PH time, with core hours being 6pm to 10pm (PH time).
- Designer Referral: Php 15,000 for each web/graphic designer you refer that joins and stays with us.
- Paid Time-Off: 15 days of paid leave + 10 unpaid days + 2 sick days paid (after 6 months of tenure).
