Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Visp, Switzerland

Industry: Life Sciences / Pharmaceuticals

Work Setting: Onsite (Relocation support available)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex IT and OT infrastructure initiatives in a global, regulated environment. This role plays a critical part in delivering secure, scalable infrastructure solutions that support manufacturing and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and deliver IT/OT infrastructure projects across local, regional, and global scopes
  • Manage full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with internal standards and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure solutions
  • Own project budgets, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communication
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Communicate clearly with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership
  • Maintain project documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience managing IT/OT infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of IT and OT architecture, security, and compliance
  • Hands-on knowledge of servers, firewalls, LAN/WAN, and data center environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or other validated manufacturing environments

Qualifications

  • Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification preferred
  • Professional fluency in English
  • German language skills at B2 level or higher
