Senior Software Engineer in Test (Remote | LATAM | Bilingual EN/ES)

Allied Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our remote team in Latin America. This role is ideal for a highly skilled automation professional who is passionate about quality, enjoys building frameworks from scratch, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with developers and QA professionals to design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks that ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple products.
- Design and build test automation frameworks from the ground up
- Maintain and enhance existing automation tests (UI & API)
- Guide teams on test coverage strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Develop tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve software quality
- Mentor junior testers and other Software Engineers in Test
- Research and introduce new testing tools and technologies
- Support manual testing efforts when business priorities require
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
- Strong experience testing web technologies and RESTful APIs
- Proven experience building automation suites (UI and API)
- Solid programming and automation principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Advanced English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Agile teams
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience with one or more of the following: Ruby, Python, JavaScript, .NET, C#, Java
- Experience testing mobile applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance, load, or stress testing
- 100% remote role within Latin America
