Lead VMWare Infrastructure Engineer
- Initial 12 month contract in the Perth CBD
- Work for a global mining client
- Relocation from Eastern states will be considered
The role:
Seeking an experienced VMWare Infrastructure Engineer for an initial 12 month contract to design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions focusing on VCF (VMWare Cloud Foundation).
This role is based in Perth, WA and we’d consider AU wide candidates with the right skills who are willing to relocate.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implementation and maintenance of VCF solutions
- Provide expert-level technical design and configuration of both virtual and physical infrastructure solutions
- Automate deployment processes, configuration, and monitoring to optimize infrastructure operations
- Extensive experience with VMware and VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF)
- Expertise with the following VMware products:
- Aria Suite (VMware Aria Operations, VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Operations for Logs)
- Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
- vSAN & NSX
- Hands-on experience with Dell hardware, particularly VXRail
