Job Title: Python Developer
Location/Work Schedule: Remote (MST, CST, EST time zones)
Pay Range: $40-50/hour W2 (no C2C for this opportunity)
Contract Length: 6+ months
Our client, a leading firm in the investment management industry, is seeking a Python Developer to join their innovative team. This role focuses on building advanced data-driven solutions and leveraging AI technologies to enhance forecasting models. What's the Job?
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications for data engineering and software engineering tasks.
- Pull data from various sources, analyze, and transform it for business insights.
- Build and optimize code to support AI-driven solutions and forecasting models.
- Work with agentic AI frameworks and integrate solutions on top of OpenAI.
- Collaborate on projects involving MIL models and advanced analytics.
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deployment; AWS experience considered.
- Partner with team members to ensure scalability and performance of solutions.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of overall professional experience in Python development in data engineering and software engineering contexts.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML models and frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS acceptable).
- Ability to design and implement forecasting models and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of agentic AI and integration with OpenAI-based solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
