Job Description


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • CPA designation strongly preferred.
  • 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience; supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
  • Experience managing month-end close cycles and coordinating external audits.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, conditional formulas).
  • Experience with global payroll systems (e.g., ADP Workforce now).
  • Familiarity with Financial Consolidation software (e.g. Oracle FCCS).

Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining effective internal controls, and leading a high-performing accounting team. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong technical accounting background and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across the organization. This role is a fully remote opportunity for a 6 month contract. The end client is based in Florida, and the schedule will be on EST hours. The hourly pay rate on contract is $39-$42/ hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
