AI Engineer

AI Engineer – Remote

We’re partnered with a fast-scaling SaaS startup using AI to build intelligent, language-driven products. They’re looking for an AI Engineer with a strong background in text, language, and speech-based systems to help take their platform to the next level.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and deploying AI models focused on NLP, LLMs, and speech processing
• Working with large language models for text generation, summarisation, classification, and search
• Developing speech-related features (speech-to-text, text-to-speech, conversational AI)
• Integrating AI capabilities into a production SaaS environment
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver real customer-facing features

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Python experience and hands-on work with NLP libraries and frameworks
• (e.g. Hugging Face, spaCy, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, open-source models, fine-tuning, prompt engineering)
• Exposure to speech technologies (ASR, TTS, voice interfaces)
• Experience deploying AI models into cloud-based production environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or search systems
• MLOps experience (model monitoring, CI/CD for ML)
• SaaS or B2B product background
