Job Description
I am seeking an experienced Python developer specializing in optimization algorithms to join my client, a leader in engineering optimizations. In this role, you'll collaborate with top-tier engineering and data science teams to create, enhance, and sustain advanced optimization solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy optimization algorithms for complex problems
- Improve existing algorithms for better performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with teams to define optimization goals
- Test and validate algorithms for robustness and reliability
- Monitor and troubleshoot algorithms in production
- Document designs, methodologies, and performance metrics
- Stay updated on advancements in optimization techniques
- Contribute to AI solutions development and innovation
Key Skills
- Proficiency in Python
- Deep understanding of CPLEX or similar optimization tools
- Proven experience as a Python developer, with a focus on optimizing algorithms
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Previous experience in a similar industry or domain
This is a full-time mid-senior level position with a salary of up to 70k (depending on experience), along with a competitive bonus and comprehensive employee benefits including healthcare.
While the position allows for full remote work and does not require residency in Ireland, candidates must be based in Europe and available for full-time work during CET hours.
