Job Description
We're looking for a Junior WordPress Support Developer to join our support team. You'll help keep client websites running smoothly, troubleshoot issues, and learn from experienced developers in a collaborative environment.
This is an ideal role for someone with some WordPress experience who wants hands-on experience supporting real clients, improving their technical skills, and growing into a full-stack developer over time.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Monitor and troubleshoot client WordPress websites
- Work within the support team to help diagnose and fix small bugs, plugin conflicts, or performance issues
- Assist with plugin updates, theme adjustments, and general maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with senior developers to learn best practices for WordPress development and support
- Participate in testing, QA, and debugging to ensure client sites stay stable and secure
- Document issues and solutions clearly for internal knowledge sharing
- Occasionally assist with small enhancements or internal tools
- Some experience with WordPress - building, maintaining, or customising sites
- Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with MySQL and basic database concepts
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work methodically
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow as a developer
- Good communication skills and a client-focused attitude
- Experience with WooCommerce support.
- Familiarity with GIT or version control.
- Interest in learning frameworks like Laravel
