📝 About the Role

We are looking for a delivery-focused Platform Engineer to join a core platform team responsible for the stability, scalability, and security of a distributed service architecture.

This role is built for engineers who own the solution end-to-end. Your mission is to build a reliable “paved road” that enables product teams to ship fast and safely. When delivery stalls or systems break, you step in, diagnose deeply, fix the issue, and improve the platform so it does not break again.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Modernize and migrate CI/CD infrastructure, including migrating legacy Jenkins-based systems to modern cloud-native architecture.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, with strong team discipline around state, modules, and shared environments.
• Implement secure cloud access patterns and drive adoption of Zero Trust approaches (replacing legacy VPN-style access).
• Configure secure connectivity between cloud environments and edge/security layers (tunnels, connectors, secure routing).
• Act as the escalation point when delivery pipelines stall; debug issues across CI/CD, networking, containers, and build tooling.
• Build internal automation tools using Python and serverless/event-driven services.
• Improve developer experience by reducing toil, standardizing workflows, and increasing platform reliability.
• Maintain and evolve deployment automation workflows (including ChatOps-style operations if applicable).
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term stability improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices in multi-engineer environments.
• Deep experience with AWS, especially:

* ECS / Fargate

* VPC Networking

• Strong experience with CI/CD systems, especially Jenkins, including migration and modernization (not just maintenance).
• Solid understanding of serverless and event-driven architecture (e.g., Lambda, EventBridge) and building internal automation tools (preferably Python).
• Good working knowledge of build ecosystems (e.g., Gradle, NPM, Python tooling) to diagnose and unblock delivery failures.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack (infra + pipelines + networking + runtime).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare (CDN, Zero Trust, Tunnels, edge security).
• Experience building or maintaining ChatOps deployment workflows.
• Exposure to modern developer productivity tooling (practical, problem-driven adoption).
