Job Description
A well-known client in the Philadelphia area is hiring for a DevSecOps Engineer for a fully remote (U.S.-based) opportunity with an innovative technology-driven organization focused on building secure, scalable cloud platforms. This is a full-time position supporting modern cloud environments across Azure and AWS, leveraging infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and security-first engineering practices. You’ll work alongside experienced cloud and security professionals to design and protect mission-critical systems used at scale.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar)
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards
- Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with security tools such as Snyk, Prisma, Aqua, or similar
- Experience implementing IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning
- Background in Red Hat Linux environments
- Security certifications (AWS Security, Azure Security, CISSP, etc.)
