Role: Senior Cloud Security Specialist

Location: 100% Remote - Netherlands

Salary: €140,000 fixed salary per annum + bonus

You'll be working on securing a Cloud-Native Payments Platform that is built for speed, scale and resilience, experimenting with one of the most exciting tech stacks globally; whilst working in an environment that has bank-grade security and reliability.

You will be:

• Building and maintaining defensive security controls across multi-cloud payment environments.
• Continuously strengthening infrastructure and application security through monitoring, hardening, and automation.
• Identifying and mitigating emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack paths.
• Partnering with engineers to embed security-by-design and recommend practical protections.
• Managing and optimizing security controls for performance, readiness, and effectiveness.
• Maintaining security baselines, playbooks, and detections for consistent defense.

You will need:

• Deep hands-on Kubernetes expertise, used daily in production environments.
• Strong Linux engineering and troubleshooting skills, applied in day-to-day operations.
• Proven cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud exposure ideal).
• Solid background in security engineering, design, and architecture for complex systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
