Job Description

Traditional site reliability teams are held back by manual monitoring, reactive troubleshooting, and deployment processes that consume significant time and resources. While AI offers a path forward, most organizations have not successfully harnessed its capabilities, leading to underperforming systems and operational bottlenecks that limit innovation. Research indicates that 73% of organizations face challenges with deployment delays and operational downtime, largely due to legacy processes and insufficient AI-driven automation.

IgniteTech is addressing these challenges directly by developing AI-first cloud solutions engineered to identify and resolve problems before they occur. Our approach embeds AI and machine learning throughout cloud infrastructure management—from automated monitoring frameworks to intelligent CI/CD pipelines. The result is infrastructure that self-heals and adapts continuously, minimizing downtime, enhancing performance, and expanding what cloud services can achieve.

This role differs from conventional site reliability positions that revolve around reacting to incidents and manual intervention. Instead, you'll drive the development of AI-enhanced monitoring systems capable of detecting and resolving 95% of issues before users are affected. You'll design and oversee AI-automated CI/CD pipelines that cut deployment times by 30% and dramatically reduce the need for manual intervention. The right candidate excels in AI-driven environments, embraces automation-first strategies, and is eager to advance the state of cloud infrastructure engineering.

You'll work alongside a global team of innovators reshaping cloud infrastructure. Your contributions will directly support our mission to achieve next-generation, AI-driven operational excellence. We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about AI and committed to shaping the future of cloud services. If this describes you, we invite you to apply and contribute to something transformative.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Deploying AI-based monitoring services that automatically detect, predict, and remediate issues before operational impact occurs
  • Overseeing CI/CD pipelines enhanced with AI-driven automation to improve deployment efficiency and minimize manual involvement

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Concentrating exclusively on manual monitoring, troubleshooting, and system maintenance; your objective will be to enable AI to handle these tasks autonomously

DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver seamless scalability and optimize performance for AI-powered cloud services, maintaining 99.99% uptime while providing AI-enhanced software upgrades and customizations that address clients' changing requirements

Basic Requirements

  • AI-First Mindset (if your default approach is to write code first and then employ AI tools for verification or enhancement, rather than starting with AI, please do not apply)
  • Minimum of 3 years of DevOps experience, including automation of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proficiency in AI and machine learning tools applied to monitoring, automation, and predictive analytics (or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to AI-driven technologies)
  • Strong programming and scripting capabilities, with experience automating tasks and developing AI-driven processes
