As a Financial Applications and SQL Support Specialist , this role is pivotal in maintaining and administering all financial applications including Aderant Expert, DataFusion, Arcs, BillBlast, and Prebill Manager. This position demands a detail-oriented professional who can manage the environment of servers, systems, and applications, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively to support the firms financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and scaling the current database environment through creating stored procedures, functions, and views
• Development and support for the firms applications using SQL, SSRS, and workflow tools to improve work production, collaboration, data modeling and system efficiencies
• Understand and leverage third-party APIs, components, and system integrations
• Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify areas for automation and optimization
• Design, develop, and implement automated solutions using scripting languages
• Act as lead in application data quality and issue resolution for supported applications
• Schedule and hold meetings with stakeholders to determine their needs and look for ways to improve operational efficiencies
• Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new application patches and versions when required
• Engage application vendors for support and implementation of recommended fixes
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3 + years of experience with legal financial application software. Experience with Aderant Expert, DataFusion, ARCs, BillBlast, Prebill Manager a plus.
• Strong command of SQL, SSRS, PowerShell, Power BI, and financial analytics
• 3+ years of experience working with API integrations
• Ability to design, develop, test, and implement applications, patches and updates
• Proven ability to diagnose and solve problems within complex and highly integrated enterprise applications, either by working with third-party vendors or using appropriate tools and techniques
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
