Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET)

Allied Global is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Engineering team. This is a 100% remote contractor role with competitive compensation and long-term collaboration opportunities. Feel free to share or tag someone who might be a great fit!

💰 Salary: $2,800 USD/month (Contractor)

🌍 Location: Remote

🗣 Languages: Advanced English (C1) & Fluent Spanish

• Build and scale test automation frameworks from scratch (UI & API)
• Maintain and improve existing automation suites
• Partner with developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Define test coverage strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Research and implement modern testing tools and best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and support team growth

• 5+ years of experience in software testing / automation
• Strong experience testing web applications & RESTful APIs
• Proven background building automation frameworks
• Solid coding skills and strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  

• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Java, C#, .NET
• CI/CD pipelines, mobile testing, or performance testing experience
