As a key member of the Central AI organization, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to design innovative solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include architecting robust system and model frameworks, conducting rigorous experimentation and evaluation, and mentoring emerging machine learning engineers. The role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of AI at Atlassian by constructing foundational infrastructure and shared experiences such as search, knowledge discovery, and conversational AI, ensuring seamless AI integration across the organization. Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of industry experience in data science, machine learning, or related domains

- Strong familiarity with SQL, Spark, and cloud data environments such as AWS or Databricks
- Experience designing and scaling machine learning models for business applications using large datasets

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning algorithms and models
