Software Engineer - ServiceNow

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, and related components
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement client-side and server-side scripting for catalog items and workflows
  • Configure and customize UI policies, UI actions, catalog client scripts and Flow Designer for automation
  • Integrate ServiceNow catalog items with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices, coding standards and security guidelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to catalog items and workflows
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow platform upgrades and new features and continuously improve catalog offerings

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development focused on Service Catalog
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Flow Designer
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP)
  • Understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow architecture
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Scoped Applications and Custom Widgets
  • Exposure to Agile Development methodologies
  • Experience with performance tuning and platform optimization
