Job Description


Position: Temporary Human Resource Assistant (Mix Payroll & Recruitment Coordinator Duties)

Location: Fully Remote

Compensation: Pay rate is negotiable

Duration: TBD


Overview:

Our client needs a versatile professional who can support both payroll and recruitment coordination. While payroll is handled by an external provider, they require someone internally to manage timekeeping and payroll data. Additionally, they need strong recruitment coordination support, as they do not have an ATS and their candidate pipeline requires organization and structure.


Key Responsibilities:


Payroll Support:

  • Manage timekeeping, timesheet accuracy, and payroll inputs.
  • Collect and verify all payroll data prior to submission to the external provider.
  • Maintain accurate payroll documentation and respond to internal inquiries.


Recruitment Coordination:

  • Organize and track all incoming applicants and resumes without an ATS.
  • Maintain structured documentation of candidate flow and hiring activity.
  • Schedule interviews, coordinate communication, and manage timelines.
  • Ensure the recruitment process remains organized, consistent, and well-documented.
  • Partner with hiring managers to maintain updated candidate statuses.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in payroll, recruitment coordination, or both.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to create structure without formal tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a remote environment.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
