DUTIES: With a high level of independent decision-making authority, will be responsible for
the following: Responsible for end-to-end QA deliverables, including defining test strategy,
scope, and estimation in collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and
development teams. Requirement analysis and concept-definition sessions to understand business
and functional needs, perform impact analysis, and prepare comprehensive QA artifacts such as
system test plans, test scenarios, and traceability matrices. Design and execute functional and
nonfunctional test cases, preparing required test data, and performing backend validation using
advanced SQL/PLSQL queries. Required to configure and work on integrated test environments,
execute backend batch processes, and coordinate deployments in collaboration with DevOps
teams using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins. Responsible for performing various testing
phases, including smoke, system, integration, regression, UAT, database/ETL, and API/web
services testing through both manual and automated techniques. To be tasked with developing,
maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using tools like UFT and Katalon Studio,
integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and enhancing reusable automation frameworks.
Responsible for defect management and tracking using Jira, HP ALM and Version one and for
leading Defect Review Board (DRB) meetings to assess severity, prioritize issues, and
collaborate with stakeholders on timely resolutions. Actively participating in Agile ceremonies,
including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure
synchronized QA efforts and aligned expectations across development and product teams.
Delivering key QA deliverables, including system test reports, QA checklists, and quality
metrics dashboards, as well as supporting UAT execution and production certifications through
post-release validation and analysis.
Requirements: Bachelor s Degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Engineering,
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering,
Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering
or related field. Requires 2 years of experience in job offered or as a QA Engineer, Engineer-
Testing, Associate Engineer- Testing, or a related field. Required experience must include
experience in UFT (Unified Functional Testing), Katalon Studio, SOAP UI, Postman, HP ALM,
Quality Center, JIRA, Java, AQT, SQL, WebSphere. Requires relocation to unanticipated client
sites throughout the United States.
