Kafka + Java Staff Engineer at BairesDev

We are seeking a Kafka + Java Staff Engineer to architect and implement high-throughput, distributed streaming solutions. You'll combine deep Apache Kafka expertise with advanced Java development skills to build scalable, resilient data pipelines and event-driven architectures. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development to deliver mission-critical streaming platforms.

What You'll Do:

- Design and architect enterprise-scale Kafka streaming solutions.

- Develop high-performance Java applications that integrate with Kafka.

- Build and optimize distributed systems and microservices architectures.

- Lead technical initiatives and guide engineering teams.

- Implement event-driven architectures and real-time data processing pipelines.

- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.

What we are looking for:

- 8-10 years of overall software engineering experience.

- Deep expertise in Apache Kafka and streaming technologies.

- Advanced Java development skills for building distributed systems.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture patterns.

- Experience with distributed systems design and implementation.

- Proven track record in technical leadership and mentoring.

- Advanced level of English.
