Senior Azure Technical Architect - Leading Cloud and AI Consultancy
Location: Abu Dhabi, open to relocation | Type: Permanent, Full-Time
🚀 About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned Azure Technical Architect to design and deliver large-scale, enterprise-grade Azure solutions. In this role, you’ll help transform clients’ cloud environments, modernize workloads, and architect AI/HPC platforms using cutting-edge technologies.
What You’ll Do
- Architect secure, scalable, and resilient Azure infrastructures
- Lead cloud modernization efforts, including migrations and microservices transformations
- Translate business requirements into technical blueprints
- Develop migration strategies for enterprise workloads
- Ensure service reliability using Azure Monitor, Service Health, and cost-optimization tools
- Design and optimize AI / HPC workloads on GPU and accelerator platforms
- Provide architectural governance; enforce cloud best practices & compliance
- Mentor engineering teams and oversee architecture reviews
What You Bring
- 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in Azure architecture
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (required)
- Deep hands-on experience with Azure services: VMs, VNets, ExpressRoute, App Gateway, AKS, etc.
- Strong knowledge of networking (Cisco, Palo Alto), identity & security (Azure AD, Key Vault, Defender)
- Experience with storage, compute (App Services, Service Fabric), and automation tools (Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell)
- Proven track record with AI/ML workloads & accelerator-based compute
- Excellent leadership, communication, and architectural governance skills
