About This Role
On behalf of a Global Operator client, Brunel is sourcing an experienced Process Engineer to support frontline operations across the LNG Plant and offshore Platform assets.
This is a residential role based in Onslow, offered on an initial 2-year contract, commencing ASAP. The position operates under a Compressed Work Week (CWW) arrangement, working either 8- or 9-hour days, and is embedded within the Frontline Engineering team, working closely with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability stakeholders.
The role is critical to ensuring safe, reliable and optimised production, with a strong focus on performance improvement, operational troubleshooting and emissions reduction.
- Own and drive process performance and reliability across LNG plant and platform operations
- Provide day-to-day Process Engineering support to operations and maintenance teams
- Monitor plant and platform performance, product quality and operational integrity
- Define scopes of work to identify and rectify system performance deficiencies and drive execution to completion
- Lead and implement process and utilities changes in accordance with Management of Change (MoC) requirements
- Participate in and support risk assessments, design reviews, HAZOP and LOPA activities
- Interface with Perth-based Process Engineering teams and broader enterprise support functions
- Review and support updates to operating, start-up and testing procedures
- Degree-qualified in Chemical / Process Engineering
- Strong, demonstrated experience in LNG Process Engineering within an operational environment
- Fluent in risk assessment, design review, HAZOP and LOPA principles
- Proven ability to work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams in a live asset environment
- Strong troubleshooting capability and safety-focused mindset
