Senior Amazon Connect Engineer | Remote (UK) | £90,000
Peaple Talent is working with a global leader in customer experience transformation, helping enterprises modernise their contact centres using Amazon Connect and the latest AWS technologies.
We’re looking for an Amazon CX Senior Engineer to join the team and lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of complex full-stack Amazon Connect solutions. You’ll play a pivotal role in guiding customers through sophisticated contact centre transformations, from architecture and automation to AI-driven customer experiences.

What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years’ experience in technical implementation or consulting roles
- Amazon Connect Communications Specialist certification
- Amazon Connect Developer Specialist certification
- Any AWS Associate-level certification (working towards Professional level preferred)
- Deep technical understanding of Amazon Connect architecture and CX ecosystems
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Nice to Have
- Python or JavaScript development experience
- Advanced use of Infrastructure as Code
- Knowledge of integration patterns with external systems and APIs
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for contact centre solutions
- Expertise in performance optimisation, scaling, and security architecture
- Hands-on experience with custom extensions for Amazon Connect
