Service Application Engineer | Columbus, OH | Fully Remote


We're working with Lincoln Electric on this exciting opportunity.


Lincoln Electric, a world leader in advanced arc welding solutions, is looking for a Service Application Engineer to join their team. This pivotal role involves quoting service and parts for existing and new customers through individual analysis and collaboration with engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate technical content of complex potential projects and work with Sales and Engineering to define system requirements.

• Facilitate execution, timelines and budgets for active opportunities.

• Set up projects in accounting system, review and release needed materials, and request invoices from Accounting.

• Monitor incoming parts and work with Purchasing to expedite as needed.

• Assist with closing projects; respond to and support field personnel.

• Identify and assist in improvements to both quoting processes and product standards / marketing.


What You'll Need:

• 5 years experience in quoting or experience in automation and/or service industry.

• Intimate technical knowledge with automation systems.

• Understanding of technical requirements for various arc welding processes.

• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

• Experience with CAD and Microsoft products including: Solidworks, Robot Studio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
